The Golden Compass

This was my first major film project after I left Australia to pursue traveling interests around the world.
I worked on The Golden Compass as a Character TD for several months at Framestore in London, mainly on the climactic battle between the polar bears.
Although I didn't get to do any lighting or FX simulation work on this one, it was a great introduction to a large VFX studio pipeline and way of working.
Ben Morris was the VFX Supervisor and I had the privilege of working for him again almost ten years later on Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
