NRMA – First Saturdays

For this powerful ad campaign bringing awareness to the firefighters of Australia, I created FX elements to augment the location photography.
This included digital embers that were simulated physically by being advected through a turbulent wind simulation, and finally exposed through the frame using a physically accurate shutter model to get exact sub frame motion blur which is pivotal to the look of photo-real embers.
