On this huge show I started to focus much more on FX simulation work rather than lighting, although I did light several big shots and won the internal ILM award for best lighting in the opening sequence.
I got to work on some of the biggest shots in the movie including several that were in the Super Bowl trailer, creating multitudes of digital explosions and various types of simulated destruction mayhem.
The mantra with the Transformers series was usually 'go big or go home'!
